The Snails of Baskerville

The Science class at the Schoolhouse is celebrating the town’s 500th anniversary with a thrilling event. That’s right— they’re holding a snail race! Each student is assigned a snail and is encouraged to develop an accelerant formula they can feed their snail to increase its speed. The competition is fierce, and everyone is hard at work concocting a formula that will rocket their snail to victory. But it appears Gill (Brilliant Boy) has developed a superior accelerant, and this has his fame-hungry classmate Stymie more than a little concerned. What will mischievous Stymie do to ensure that his own snail finishes in First?

Drake: Part 1 of 5

1998 marked the 100th anniversary of Bram Stoker's Dracula, and the creators of Brilliant Boy celebrated this occasion with an inspired tale of Good versus Evil. Drake, a new kid in town, is causing quite a stir with the students at the Schoolhouse. The girls are entranced by Drake’s striking good-looks and extraordinary strength, and the boys...well, the boys are not at all that enthused about his good-looks and strength. The kids soon learn that Drake has some peculiar characteristics. What is really behind Drake’s occasionally bizarre behaviour? The answer lies in a ghostly warning to Gill about Drake's shadowy past.
