Brilliant Boy and the Big Race Graphic Novel

Remember, kids, always wear a helmet whenever you’re travelling this fast!

Brilliant Boy and the Big Race is an all-new, approximately 100-pages graphic novel.

The Scoop: It seems the idea of snail racing, which originated at the Century Schoolhouse, has caught on in a big way throughout the counties! In fact snail racing has become the latest fad, and kids everywhere are scrambling to concoct an accelerant formula to enhance their snail's speed.

Now two schools, each claiming it has developed the ultimate snail accelerant, are challenging the famous Brilliant Boy and the renowned Schoolhouse in Baskerville to an intercounty snail race showdown. But this is no ordinary snail race and the requirements are much more ambitious: the students themselves will be racing in vehicles of their own design that must be powered by their accelerant-enhanced snails! That’s right—the kids must somehow harness their snails’ increased speed to power the vehicles. The better the accelerant, the faster the car. Sounds crazy? You bet it is!

If you think this race is anything like your grandmother’s Sunday drive through the countryside, you’re dead wrong. This is no-nonsense rubber-burnin’, tires-flyin’, eyeball-poppin’ action and fun! This is snail-powered auto racing at its finest! Believe it!

Release date: Sometime in 2006 (Hey, we're working on it!)
